A large scale privately owned Irish company are seeking a Senior NPD Technologist to join their innovative and growing business. This highly automated manufacturing facility produces the highest quality products for the UK and Irish Markets. With a huge turnover, this organisation has invested millions into technology improvements and new product innovation in recent years and continues to do so. This world class manufacturing company are one of the leaders in their sector in Europe and now need a Senior NPD Technologist to join their team. The Position: As the Senior NPD Technologist you will be involved in innovation concepts for new ingredients, products, packaging & technologies. You will also manage and support internal production trials and coordinate product launches on the factory floor. Your other responsibilities as Senior NPD Technologist will include: Developing and implementing manufacturing standards, improvements and savings for existing products and processes. Implementing new products into the plant in partnership with Sales and NPD. The Person: The successful Senior NPD Technologist will hold a degree in Food Science/Technology or related discipline and ideally have 2 years' manufacturing experience. You will possess a good understanding of process and factory operations, with experience in project and people management being a distinct advantage.
