What you need to know. You will work as a Quality Engineer for our client, a highly successful and well- established manufacturing company in Westmeath . As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring our products provides a high level of quality that meets with the standard operating policies and procedures. You will put in place a quality system to measure the performance and then report on its findings. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: duties & responsibilities: Provide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques. You will be required to approve the release of a finished product and oversee the product records. Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerancing, and materials related issues. Provide quarterly inspection data and quality assurance reports to senior management. Institute development protocols for validation plans. Participate in all QA meetings. You will be responsible for site projects such as Lean Manufacturing and Line Walks. Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem- solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action. Develop and maintain procedures related to ISO TS 16949 ISO 14001. You will be responsible for customer submissions, FTOP, Builds and PPAPs. What are we looking for? 3rd level Degree in Quality Management/Engineering/Science or related discipline. At least 5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have experience and knowledge of ISO and FDA Quality Systems Regulations. Strong project leadership, facilitation and interpersonal skills and ability. Excellent team building, communication, people management and leadership skills. Strong team player with excellent communication, collaboration and engagement skills. Desirable. Fluency in German.
