What you need to know. You will work as an Assistant Quality Manager for our client, a manufacturing company, who has a state of the art facility with high tech production lines and are leaders in their field and are based in Longford . As the Assistant Quality Manager , you will be responsible for quality with a focus on the factory and the production elements of the quality. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Lead and drive Site audits – customer audits, BRC audits and GMP audits. Responsible for the food safety management system. Ensuring production compliance to customer requirements. Preparation of production for any customer audits. Present any audit scores to management. Responsible for cleaning plan and management of same. Review, highlight and make decisions in relation to isolated stock. Highlight any NCRs at meetings. Lead and drive risk assessments and pest management. Deal with any production/quality issues as and when they arise. What are we looking for? 3rd level education in Food or Quality. 2-3 years experience in food manufacturing environment. PC literate. Auditing experience and strong knowledge of food regulatory requirements, BRC and GMP. Willing to learn, and motivated to progress.
