HR Manager Midlands Permanent 70k. CPL HR have been retained on an exclusive basis to search for a HR Manager for a service provider to people with intellectual difficulties. This organisation offers a high quality, community based service based on identified individualised needs enabling users to reach their full potential. This Senior leadership role will involve the strategic and operational implementation of the Human Resources Department. The successful candidate will oversee employees and act as a strategic, operational, commercial and dynamic Business Partner to the senior management team. The successful candidate will be adept in securing senior board of management support when implementing new strategies. This appointment will report directly into the Chief Executive Officer. Key responsibilities. Develop and implement a people strategy to support the strategic business plan. Ensure Human Resources policies and procedures are compliant with employee legislation, reflect best practice and support the people strategy. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function, providing a commercial Human Resources service to the organisation. Provide expert advice to Managers on all aspects of people management. Manage the employee recruitment and selection process for the organisation. Co-ordinate, in conjunction with the Director of Finance, the payroll activities for the organisation. Oversee the management of employee compensation and benefits. Assess learning and development needs and implement an employee development programme for existing and new talent. Promote a performance management system that supports a high- performance culture. Manage employee relations, addressing grievances and other issues in a timely manner. Oversee the Health and Safety processes within the organisation. Promote and exemplify the organisations values. Experience. A minimum of seven years proven Human Resources Management experience. Degree in Human Resources or related field and a member of CIPD. In-depth knowledge of human resources best practice and employment law. People oriented, encouraging a collaborative and collegiate environment. Excellent active listening, communication, coaching and influencing skills.
