Technical Product Manager. Based in Longford. I am delighted to be assisting my client once again recruit a Technical Product Manager for their site in Longford. The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a technical team in the development, improvement and transfer of projects that relate to new and existing product performance and quality. About the company: You will be joining a global healthcare manufacturing company who are dedicated to improving people's lives throughout the world by the development of products and technologies. They have a wonderful reputation in the area for really looking after their staff and adopt a progressive and inclusive company culture. Due to recent expansion, they now require a Technical Product Manager who will ensure sites quality, service, regulatory, financial and safety goals. You will support market product teams by providing customer service and introducing new and improved products. You will have the opportunity to: Manage the transfer of new products from other sites and ensure compliance with quality system requirements. Lead product/process development/improvement projects. Direct and support technical investigations utilising Six Sigma DMAIC process ensuring a standardised and systematic approach. Assist manufacturing with the necessary resources to provide high quality, safe and effective products. Ensure compliance with EHS and global technical standards. Identify where improvements can be made and implement to create a culture of continuous improvement in safety. Lead product launches to EU customers. Investigate and remedy the cause of product non-conformance in compliance with site CAPA system requirements. Encourage a team environment of collaboration and communication. Ensure compliance with GMP requirements. Identify training needs through effective planning and implement. Identify and communicate the progress of project and highlight any to site director and develop contingencies. Requirements: Postgraduate qualification or PhD in Chemistry or related Science discipline. Working knowledge of the manufacturing processes and the analysis of data from process or laboratory testing. Min 5 years' experience in a technical role in the development or manufacturing support within pharma or medical device industry. Min 5 years' experience in a people management role.
