Our client seeks an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer. For this role you should be able to machine a part from a drawing to finish. The ro le: • Creating NC programs for CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls. • Creating set-up sheets. • Uploading NC programs via network, RS232. • Calculating machining enquiries (raw material, machining time, lead time etc.). • Using the correct tools, inserts, & machine shop equipment. • QC check. • Able to work in imperial & metric. • Know the surface speed of various materials (Duplex, 4140 316 Stainless etc.). Ideally you will have knowledge of: MS Office - Excel, Word. Solidworks. Alpha-cam. or similar.
