A Senior Human Resources Business Partner is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Co. Longford based client. main responsibilities include: providing support to the plant in areas of recruitment & selection, learning & development and provide guidance and support to staff to ensure harmonious employee relations. Ensure all employees use the different functions of HR , such as Learning & Development , Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits and the HR service center. THE ROLE: * To guide and promote the Human Resources People Strategy which contributes to continuously improving its competitive position in an ever-changing business environment. * To assist in fostering a harmonious employee climate while also ensuring that the company complies with all statutory Employment and Safety legislation, policies, etc. * To ensure that employees at all levels of the plant are given expert advice on all HR policies/procedures, employment legislation updates and coaching on employee relations issues. * Lead and understand organizational capability needs, coaching managers to consider deeply their team's development and training needs. * Providing guidance & advice to managers on the optimization of department structure and organization effectiveness. * Drive and promote cultural programs through consistent and imaginative communication at all levels within the organization. * Support and encourage the development of an effective team based working philosophy in the Plant. * Counsel and give guidance to Team leaders in the implementation of local HR policies and relevant employment legislation. * Maintain relationships with groups or individuals outside the HR Department. * Encouraging the use of Learning resources, coach managers to optimize the talents within their departments to facilitate optimal performance. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree (L8) in relevant discipline and / or membership of Institute of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPD. * Five (5) years related experience is preferable.
